BECCHARA PALMER
President
Becchara Palmer is a former Australian beach volleyball player and Olympian, who represented her country at the 2012 London Olympics. Throughout her playing career, Becchara forged a career in digital marketing with a passion for using creativity and data insights to deliver impactful marketing initiatives. Having recently retired from professional beach volleyball after 18 years, Becchara now runs a digital marketing business, consolidating her experiences in Brand and Marketing Management through various industries, including health insurance, tech start-ups, tertiary education, and digital agencies.
OLIVIA ORCHARD
Chairperson
Olivia is an experienced finance professional with experience across a broad range of industries and geographies, having lived abroad for a number of years. Her current role provides CFO services to small-medium enterprises. She also had a successful career in both indoor and beach volleyball, having represented Australia in both disciplines, and captained the Australian women's senior indoor team from 2011-2014.
Daniela scuteri
Director
Daniella is a generalist in-house legal professional with a sports and commercial law background gained in Melbourne, Victoria. Recently, she worked at the Australian Grand Prix Corporation as in-house legal counsel, responsible for providing legal and strategic advice for the annual Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix and Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix events. Daniella also has a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Recreation Management and has worked with Volleyball SA prior to commencing her legal career on the SA Volleyball Schools Cup.
PETER TZIAVRANGOS, GAICD
Director
Peter is an Adelaide-based Non-executive director and Managing Director with experience in contemporary governance in healthcare, membership organisations and not-for-profits. He has over 20 years of experience as Managing Director of Move for Better Health, which operates Physiotherapy and Allied Health clinics in South Australia.
Peter's other governance positions include roles with the Australian Physiotherapy Council, as a Non-executive Director, and the Australian Physiotherapy Association as National VP, Non-Executive Director and Chair of Insurance and Safety Committee.
Angela Allanson
Director
Angela is an experienced people and culture professional with over 20 years of experience across a range of industries, from multinational corporations to start-ups. Her background includes roles such as Head of HR Australia for a global healthcare company based in Sydney and Head of HR Business Partnering for a global tech company based in Singapore. Angela holds a Masters of Human Resource Management and currently works in business change management in Adelaide.
