Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships State Team Trials

The 2023 Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships held on the beautiful Coolangatta beach will showcase the best up-and-coming youth age volleyball athletes from all across Australia. The championships invites teams from each state go head-to-head for the Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships title.

COMPETITION INFORMATION:

When: 26th - 30th March, 2023
Location: Coolangatta Beach, QLD
Divisions: U14, U15, U16, U17 and U18

Applications to trial in the 2023 Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships are open.

AGE ELIGIBILITY:

U14 (2010 born athletes)
Player must not turn 14 years old, or older, during the year of the event

U15 (2009 born athletes)
Player must not turn 15 years old, or older, during the year of the event

U16 (2008 born athletes)
Player must not turn 16 years old, or older, during the year of the event

U17 (2007 born athletes)
Player must not turn 17 years old, or older, during the year of the event

U18 (2006 born athletes)
Player must not turn 18 years old, or older, during the year of the event

U14 Girls:

Trial #1: Wednesday 11th January 8am-10am, Glenelg Beach.

Trial #2: Saturday 21st January 2:30pm-4:30pm, SASI Sand courts.

U15 Girls:

Trial #1: Wednesday 11th January 10am-12pm, Glenelg Beach.

Trial #2: Saturday 21st January 12:30pm-2:30pm, SASI Sand courts.

U14 Boys:

Trial #1: Wednesday 11th January 12:30pm-2:30pm, Glenelg Beach.

Trial #2: Saturday 21st January 10am-12pm, SASI Sand courts.

U15 Boys:

Trial #1: Wednesday 11th January 2:30pm-4:30pm, Glenelg Beach.

Trial #2: Saturday 21st January 8am-10am, SASI Sand courts.

U16 Girls:

Trial #1: Thursday 12th January 8am-10am, Glenelg Beach.

Trial #2: Sunday 22nd January 2:30pm-4:30pm, SASI Sand courts.

U17 & U18 Girls:

Trial #1: Thursday 12th January 10am-12pm, Glenelg Beach.

Trial #2: Sunday 22nd January 12:30pm-2:30pm, SASI Sand courts.

U16 Boys:

The cost of the trials will be $20 per athlete
Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships trainings will commence in the first week of February, 2023
